Fader Plugs’ CEO Presents at TecBridge 2017 Northeast Pennsylvania Innovation Conference – Bioscience and Technology

Bethlehem, PA – August 14, 2017 – Fader Plugs’ CEO and Founder, Blaise Delfino, presented at the annual 2017 TecBRIDGE 2017 Northeast Pennsylvania Innovation Conference on August 10th and 11th of 2017. The event took place at the Hilton Conference Center in Scranton, PA and was sponsored by TecBRIDGE and the Allan P. Kirby Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Wilkes University.

TecBRIDGE’s merged title name, created in 2012, derives from the original organizations: GVTA – Great Valley Technology Alliance, that was formed to organize and facilitate programs which promote Northeastern Pennsylvania, and lead in technology-based economic development. NPTI – Northeastern Pennsylvania Technology Institute, was established to create the next generation of technology-based entrepreneurs and companies in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Innovation Conference format included nationally recognized keynote speakers and panelists, expert presentations, and invited student poster displays from some of the best and brightest high school and college students. Mr. Delfino spoke within the medical device track, which was one of four specialized areas: healthcare innovation, informatics, and basic research and discovery.

Mr. Delfino spoke specifically about the evolution of hearing protection and in-ear computational devices. In his presentation, he explored the patented Fader technology used in the Fader Plug – the first mechanical adjustable ear plug. The Fader Plug is designed to provide controlled decibel reduction in a highly functional and fashionable design. Mr. Delfino is the CEO and Founder of Fader Plugs, LLC, a hearing solutions company that is on a mission to perceptually transform the use of hearing protection. Mr. Delfino enlightened his audience on the team’s early work to create a personal in-ear computational device translating foreign language to the user’s native language in real time.
