Bethlehem startup led by college student wins prize worth $110,000 in regional competition

Bethlehem, PA – May 1, 2017 – Local business startup, Fader Plugs, LLC participated as a finalist in the TecBRIDGE Business Plan Competition this past Thursday, April 27th 2017 and took first place in the collegiate sector. Bethlehem local, East Stroudsburg University graduate student and CEO/Founder of Fader Plugs, LLC, Blaise Delfino and team, won a sum of $110,000 – comprising of $100,000 in related business services and a $10,000 cash prize.

The TecBRIDGE competition took place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes – Barre, PA and is comprised of two different sectors; collegiate and non – collegiate. This regional competition is designed to stimulate innovative thinking to leverage a technology-driven economy while retaining the region’s talent. Students from the area’s fourteen colleges and universities, along with non-collegiate teams were eligible to participate.
